A door flew upon, and it almost looked like a different building was beyond it. As Robin, Jason, and Cassie were brought into the room by a worker, the girl was the one who found herself the most amazed by the change in decor (though not the only one). Whereas the rest of what had been seen of the building was cold and metallic and had no life except guards and workers, this was totally different-- the walls were cheery and with painting of a field and a horizon that ran along all four, and the floor had green carpet that seemed to compliment the vision created by the painting. There were also toys, pillows, and several other pleasant things.

Oh, and the place was crawling with babies, of course.

Robin's heart leapt a little. The place did look like it'd be alot of fun. Not only were there alot of toys lying everywhere, but there were tons of playmates. He recognized alomost every other face as someone he knew from around Tandy. Ming, Scott and Julie, Lilly's friend Jennie along with what looking like her mom and...

He suddenly squeaked, spotting Sam and her group huddled around each other in one corner. Twitching, he tried getting down.

The man who brought them let out a restrained laugh. "Anxious to play, huh? Well... don't get too attached." Seconds later he had set down the babies and left, the door to the room bolted shut (from the outside of course) afterwards.

Alex was now the tallest of the cheerleaders; Sam was small almost to the level of Jason. She was leaning against Alex's shoulder and crying.
"Sam, it's awwight," said the spiky-haired toddler, rubbing her best friend's back. She looked over to Jo, who was on the girl's other side, "Jo, Sam's weawwy upset. Wet her bawwow yer pacifi-a."

Jo spit it out of her mouth and into the palm of her left hand. After only a quick glance down at the saliva-covered object, she extended the hand out to her now-small companion.

"Mm," Sam knew she was a big girl. She didn't really want the pacifier, especially not after Jo'd had it in her mouth, although exactly why that bothered her was getting harder and harder to understand. But she felt so bad after letting everyone down. Seemed like it would make her feel better...

She took it from Jo, but couldn't hold it right in her tiny fist. Alex helped her pick it up and guide it to her mouth. Sam smiled, putting an arm around both of her friends. They made her feel so happy...

Cassie led the charge in crawling over to them. She was perfectly capable of walking, of course, but almost everyone else in the room (notable exceptions being Kyle, who looked like he was bragging about it to some who could not do the same, and Katie and Ming, who were chasing each other in circles in a corner of the room) was crawling so she wanted to fit in. Besides, Jason couldn't walk and she was sure some of her other playmates couldn't either.

Alex waved to them, crawling over as well. As she left, Sam let out a little moan, but was able to just put all her hugging allowance on Jo. "What happen'd?" asked Alex as the trio neared them. "Didn't da udder guy haff anyt'ing?"

"Well, sorta," said Robin, following Cassie's example and crawling. Being on his feet all day had left him kinda tired anyway. "They're in the factory."

Cassie reached up to pull out her pacifier-- she stopped when Jason said what she was planning to say. "Kirk, Miwo, an' Lita are here too," he said with a slight shrug, which almost made him fall. "She had us ge' caught so they could sneak in."

Right about then was when the boys of the group were tackled by a pair of blonde (or reddish-blonde in the case of the larger of the two) babies, both of whom had been waiting just in case.

Robin squeaked, suddenly rolling around on the floor. In a moment though, he got on top, pinning his attacker to the ground, "Irene?"

Jason was not quite able to overturn the girl who jumped him-- specifically Lilly. Jason silently had to wonder how Anne would react when she heard about this one. "Uh... hi," the comic geek said to the small-but-bigger-than-him predator. This day couldn't get anymore awkward.

Lilly giggled in response, quickly pulling herself off of him. "Wanna play!"

"That wasn't it!" the girl in question shouted-- she didn't pay much mind to the boy on top of her. "We were s'poseda to keep people from seein' little Miss Sam!" Irene knew that Sam had never asked for such a thing, but she decided to do it anyway and Lilly was a willing volunteer.

"Etsh awwight," said Sam, sniffling and still hugging Jo tight. "I dun mind..."

"Hm." Robin got off Irene as well, helping her up, "Well... to be fair, playing does sound kinda nice... We might not get a chance to do it later. One way or the other."

"Guess so," Irene spit out in response. She sounded angry-- and with good reason, since her help had been refused. "Whadda we gonna play?"

While all of this went on Cassie made it her business to crawl over to the hugging girls (the larger of whom looked like she felt weird being hugged for so long).

"Dunno," said Robin, thinking. "This place's too empty to play hide-n-seek, and we need Milo and Kirk ta find us when they come. Maybe freeze tag?"

Feeling cheered up a little, Sam took the pacifier out of her mouth, nuzzling Jo before offering it back, "Hi Cassie... Sorry I couldn't help much..."

Cassie reached up and pulled out her own pacifier, just as Jo inserted hers. "You hel'd a bunch," the goth corrected her, far more friendly in tone than she probably ever would have been to Sam before that morning. "An' not jus' 'tause you chang-duh me."

Jason replied to Robin's question by nodding toward his own hands, which were still dug into the carpet. "Some-a us wouldn't do good."

Sam blushed, "Well, it was kinda nice takin' care of you kids..." The girl suddenly squeaked, turning redder and squeezing Jo's hand while getting a very uncomfortable look on her face, "Mmm I... I think I might need a change now..."

"Oh... Right, sorry." He sat down next to his best friend, thinking. "What've you got in mind?"

Jo started to whimper a little-- both for the squeeze and for, well, other reasons. Cassie let out a small sigh, then asked a question that she hoped she would not learn the answer to first-hand. "Does thomeone cuh-ome in to shange us?"

Jason thought for a second, taking a look around the room before spotting something toward the center of the room. "How 'bout we play wif dose cars?"

Sam started to get teary-eyed. Wearing a used diaper was incredibly gross. She didn't know how someone could wear one without crying, "I-I dunno.. I've seen some other kids get changed so I think so... But I dunno how ta call 'dem..."

Robin smiled, "Okay!" Just playing trucks with his best friend sounded really fun and simple. He looked over his shoulder and Irene, Lilly, and Alex, "You in?"

"You twy cryin'?" Cassie asked, almost like it was a common sense thing to do. And in a way it was, at least that's how she figured it. "Maybe if you maka buncha noise dey'll change you."

Lilly giggled happily in her own way of accepting Robin's invitation. Irene was a bit more direct. "I am! Dat's a boy's game!"

"S-seems kinda 'barrassin' but..." She squeaked again, rubbing against her own waste. Nothing could be worse then this... She opened her mouth wide, "Waaaaa-ha-ha-haaaaa!"

"Great!" Robin smiled, crawling toward the toys lying in the center of the room, motioning for the others to follow.

Jason and Lilly happily crawled along behind him. Irene did not-- the second she heard Sam start crying she pulled herself to her feet and angrily toddled over to her.

"Whad'd you two do ta Miss Sam!?" the wanna-be-boy demanded the second she got over to where Cassie, Sam, and Jo were situated. Her sense of smell wasn't very good or she likely would've found her answer.

Sam wanted to answer but once she started crying it was hard to stop. She just kept wailing while lightly kicking her feet.

Robin look a little back truck, before finding a blue one and rolling it toward Jason, "Like that one?"

"Uh... huh?" Jason stopped when he saw that Lilly had picked up a little pink car only to partially shove it in her mouth. "Spit dat out," Jason said, tugging on the end of it only to fall on his stomach when it came out. Tears began to form in the blonde's eyes as Lilly tried-- and failed-- to restrain her giggles.

The strawberry-blonde raised one fist in Cassie's direction (choosing her because she was of course the outsider). "You betta not have hurt 'er."

"Nah... I..." Sam let out a great sniffle, stifling herself as best she could, "I m-made a messy, Irene..." She reached up, grabbing Irene's overall legs and tugging on them as if asking for help. She'd started her crying to attract people, but now it was real...

"You okay?" Alex reached down, pulled the pajama'd blonde to his feet. "Shoudn't do too mush when yer 'dis smaww."

Irene stared down at the little cheerleader, feeling something of a cross between empathetic and relieved. The overalled girl thought for a second, before pulling herself free of Sam's grip as carefully as she could. With that done, little Lew ran over to the door of the room; the second she got there she started beating on it with both of her tiny fists.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine," Jason replied, sniffling a little but not taking it quite as hard as he had his earlier fall. "Let's play."

As Irene kept pounding against it, there came noises from the other side of the door as well. Loud, sounding like struggling. As those sounds passed, they were replaced by the very audible noise of a deadbolt being removed.

The heavy door opened, pushing Irene gently aside as Kirk stepped into the room. "Black-ba- Wow. That's a lot of babies," noted the young ninja, looking around the room at its huge number of diapered inhabitants.

Lita was the first to follow him inside; unlike Kirk the first of her senses to become overloaded was her nose. "Puke, pears, and pee. Thought I was done with that combination after Mandy grew up."

The second was her sense of touch-- specifically when Irene began to pull with all of her might on one of her pant legs. Eventually Lita looked down; when she did Irene offered a simple explanation. "Miss Sam went poop!"

Kirk looked up spotting Miss Sam along with the Black-Banged girl. Snickering, he looked up at his companion, "She's your best friend, so I'll leave her to you." With that, he crossed over to wear the little girl was sitting and scrooped her up from behind, "Hey, there. Miss me?"

Lita groaned. Another thing she thought she was done with when Mandy grew up. It needed to be done though, and the experience thus far had been seven types of awesome, so Lita's inner monologue did not complain too much.

The cheerleader walked over to her regressed friend, her feet having to awkwardly dance around the many infants in the way most of whom weren't paying any attention to her. "Hey, uh... Sam."

Cassie chirped the word, "Yeth." That was another thing that surprised her just a little. But then again there was no reason it should have. He was doing such a good job taking care of her...

"L-Lita?" The cheerleader sniffled, looking up at her gargantuan team-mate. Feeling even more like she messed up, she reached over and tugged the girl's sock, "I needa ch-change..."

Kirk smiled, hugging her tight before looking her in the eye, "Everything alright here? We gotta get moving soon."

Lita oh-so-carefully lowered herself until she was sitting on her knees in front of Sam. "Nice room," Lita mumled, her voice somehow giving off that she was being both sarcastic and genuine. Somewhere along the way Lita had found herself in posesstion of the diaper bag, so she set it down and began to dig out all of the neccessities.

"Um..." Lita certainly wasn't worried about the diaper. She had been through plenty of those in her life. But she still was in a rare state of nervousness. "Why'd you eat the candy anyway?"

"Didn't wanna..." said the little girl, lying on her back. "We was goin' to see what was happ'nin', then they took us ta a dawk room an' put th' candy in ma mouth..." She sniffled, "I couldn't help it..."

As Lita untaped the diaper (and when it was opened she fortunately found that she had before dealt with much worse), she decided to show a rare semblance of genuine kindness. "Are ya blaming yourself? Don't."

"Mm..." Sam started to feel a little better, just because she had a grown-up to look after her. As Lita went to work, the toddler reached up and grabbed her index finger in her tiny fist. "Th-thank you, Lita..."

The more maternal / sisterly part of one Cher Harper wanted to give the little girl a hug, but Lita managed to restrain herself. "No prob," the girl said with a small laugh as she continued to clean with her free hand. "Thank you too. If Alex hadn't gotten 'hold of your cellphone, today would probably be pretty boring!"
"So... you're lookin' for a cu-URE!" Sam couldn't help but jump a little as she got wiped. It was cold.

"Yep!" Lita assured her, ignoring the jump. She would get used to it in a second or two.

"Although... at this point so long as I get ridda of that Wallace girl I could be valedictorian!" Sam didn't understand what that word meant anymore, but nodded.

Elsewhere, Kirk lifted his lost change onto his shoulders, smiling, "So, where's everyone else, little lady?"

With a huff, Milo ran through the door behind the others, turning to slam it shut. "Alright, I think that was all of the ones we ran into. Should be safe for now..."

"Ova dere," Cassie answered, while pointing a finger to where Robin, Jason, Alex, Lilly, and now Irene were playing. She then giggled a little at being called a 'lady', though she wasn't sure why.

Lita finished up right about that same time, picking Sam up by her waist and setting her down again in a sitting position. "You're looking kind of tired, I think."

Sam nodded, yawning, "I's been takin' cara babies all day, 'den now I am a baby..." She scooched forward so she could lean on Lita, "I needs a nap..."
"Let's say hello, shall we?" Kirk weaved between the knee-high kiddos, careful not to stop on any as he neared his brother and his group.

"Vroom!" That was the sound emerging from Jason's mouth as he and his fellow kids pushed around their toy cars. Well, the other children except for Lilly anyway-- she had wound up putting hers back in her mouth.

Lita stroked the little girl's hair a little-- not that she enjoyed this sort of thing, but she definitely had experience in it. "Yeah, you go ahead and go to sleep."

"Y-you'll take care-a eveyt'ing?" said the toddler, her eyelids drooping. "I dun wann' be sent 'way from my daddy..."

"Hey." Kirk knelt down before his brother and Jason, smiling. "You ready to go? We're gonna head out and get the cure."

"Sooner the better," said Milo, walking up behind him and surrounded by babies. "They know we're here now and we can't stay in one place too long."

Lita knew that even at this point failure was still more than a little likely, but she also knew that telling a child that even one who used to be a teen wasn't going to turn out so well. "Yeah, we'll handle it. Promise."
Jason turned up toward Kirk and turned a deep crimson. He hoped that the sounds that he'd been making hadn't been picked up by the boys ears; though that dream was killed when he saw Cassie giggling rather heartily while looking right at him.

"Thanks, Lita..." Sam closed her eyes, putting her thumb in her mouth and leaning cutely against her friends legs, falling asleep almost instantly.

Robin stood, dropping his car and sidling toward Jason, "Uh... right! We're all ready for the assault!"

"Sure, baby brother," snickered Kirk, bouncing Cassie on his shoulders a little.

Milo looked over at Lita, gesturing for her to come over and join them now that she seemed done with Sam.

Lita carefully laid Sam's head onto the carpet of the room, then stood up and turned to the others. "Yeah, let's get going. I'm getting rather bored with this." She walked toward the two boys, her head turning back just for a second to catch a last glimpse of Sam and Jo just in case.
"Yesh!" Cried Alex, raising a fist into the air. "Fawwawd towawds da howwizon! Deaff to da enamy!"

As the other babies in the group began to stand as best they could, Milo held up his hands in resistence, "Whoa, we can't take everyone! Most of you are gonna have to stay here."

Irene was the first to protest that particular statement. "Why? I'm bigga dan da blonde boy!" She pointed an angry finger at Jason, who scowled a little in response.

Neither Lilly nor Jo could be bothered to care quiet as much-- Jo had passed out pretty much right about when Sam did, and Lilly was content to suck on her car while taking in a bunch of words that she for the most part couldn't understand.

"Yeah, put can't go throught he halls with alot of babies," explained Milo look over to the door. "It's already not gonna take very long for them to figure out what happened to us."

Alex frowned, rubbing her chin with one of her tiny hands, "So you's bein' chased by gawwds, huh? An' you gotta be free to find th' curr?"

"Looks that way," Lita answered Alex. She scratched the back of her head as she said it. "Can't think of any way we could fix this if we got caught."

Lita paused to think until a plan hit her. But seeing Alex with a similar look, she had to ask. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"If da enemy is suseptaba ta chaosh, 'dey'll be undishapwined and un cwoordinated!" said Alex, nodded.

"I don't know what she said, but it sounds cool," said Kirk. "It'll be like a prison riot! Can you do it?"
With a grin, Alex picked up a building block at her feet and hurled it into the back of Ming's head, making a very impressive throw for someone of such a small size."

As the cries of the Asian girl and the subsequent cries of her two redhead friends (who Jason seemed more repulsed by than drawn to like he normally would have felt) filled the room, Lita against her better judgment smiled. "That's a nice start. Keep going-- like..." She stopped to look around; her eyes came to a rest on Scott as he helped Julie attempt to walk. "Tripping Julie. That would be a good way to get two more started."

"Can do!" cried Alex happily, grabbing Jason's toy car and pushing it toward the pair. Scott promptly stepped on it, making him fall forward on top of his unbalanced girlfriend. The noise of wailing got slowly louder.

"Great!" Kirk stood up, Cassie still with him. "Get Robin and Jason; we gotta go before they get here to settle things."

Lita easily scooped up both of her once-peers in one fluid motion-- making two babies and a diaper bag all among her cargo. "I feel like my mom," the girl said with a slight laugh.

With nothing better to do Irene relegated herself to helping out in Alex's quest to draw tears. She started off by pushing Lilly, who was still blissfully sucking on a pink toy car, to the ground. That worked quite well, as the blonde began to cry almost before she hit the ground.
"That's good! Go!" Milo ran, hopping over the toddlers, to the heavy metal door. He couldn't put the deadbolts on, so with his hands free, he pulled it open a crack, enough for his companions to slip through. Kirk followed, taking Cassie off his shoulders so he could hold her more securly. As he slipped out the door, Alex threw a glob of play-doh, hitting the young Ivan in the face.

As Ivan's screams became the latest ones to fill the room, Lita shuffled through while carefully balancing both Robin and Jason. When she had managed to escape the room, the cheerleader turned to the shopkeep. "Mind taking one of these?"

"Sure." Milo closed the door, putting on the deadbolt so it didn't look like anyone had come in recently. Certain it was secure, he turned and took Jason, holding him close. "You seem to know more about taking care of kids then I do, though," he said, smiling a little and leading the rush away from the nursery.

"Try growing up as a family as big as mine and see if you don't pick up some things," Lita said in her normal speaking voice, probably the first she got to use that in awhile. She quickly managed to not just catch up but slightly pass Milo, though given their different fields of life that wasn't particularly surprising.

"Heh. Are we in a race now?" asked Kirk, passing Milo and taking second. "Where are we going now?"

"Fi-fifth floor," said the merchant, rushing to keep up with the athlete and hyperactive boy. "That's supposed to be where their boss is."
"Two more floors up, huh? Hmm..." Lita stopped to think while continuing to move-- an interesting combination but by far one she was used to. "Wonder if we can find an elevator. Might make it easier on ol' four-eyes."

"I don't run much, alright? That's why they invented cars," muttered the shopkeep, irritated. He stopped, taking in a little air before looking around, "I can see an elevator over there... How much candy do we still have?"

Lita stopped a second or two after he did, looking no worse for wear. She quickly began to dig into her pockets. "Um... a couple of what I think is either gumballs or jawbreakers, and a bag of chocolate-covered pretzels. That's all I've got, how 'bout you two?"

"Gummy worms, sugary gum, some rock candy..." said Kirk, checking his own armarments, "Y'know, we should've stuffed the diaper bag with some. Dunno why I didn't think of that earlier."

"I've got some lollipops, but I used most of my stuff getting this far," said Milo. Looking down the halls for anyone approaching, he walked to the elevator and pressed the button. "With luck it'll be enough, though."

Lita nodded, nervous but less than willing to show it. With all luck by the end of the day Manda would still be the youngest of the Harpers... With a small sigh Lita began to stroll over, Robin still in her arms, to the elevator. When she got there she pressed the call button and waited.

"Hopefully it isn't occupied," the cheerleader spit out, starting to grow more than a little frustrated with all of this.

Kirk smiled, strolling between his two older companions, "I don't think we've got anything to worry about. The good guys always win in these scenarios."

The elevator doors opened with an audible "ding." Thankfully it was empty, but as they crossed the threshold into the boxy, cable-supported transport, a cry came out behind them.

"There they are! East end, near elevator four!"

Once everyone was inside Lita practically slammed down on the button for the fifth floor, almost dropping Robin in the process. Thankfully the doors closed right on time. "Heh... sorry," she said to the little brown-haired boy in her arms, and while she meant it there were admittedly bigger things on her mind.

Elsewhere in the elevator car, Cassie found herself clinging onto Kirk once more, her pacifier not in her mouth but rather gripped solidly in her right hand. "I'm scawed..."

Robin frowned. Like he didn't have enough to worry about besides getting dropped on his head. With a shudder, he grabbed Lita's jacket in his little hands and leaned against her, hoping things would turn out alright. "B-Be more careful..."
"Don't worry," Kirk held the girl close rubbing her back and lifting her a little so he could kiss her forehead. "Everything's gonna turn out fine. Promise!"

Cassie didn't cheer up; instead, her eyes flooded with tears. Why was she so mean to him yesterday? He was being so nice. "Ah... I...m'm..."

Lita's voice interrupted. "You got it!" she promised energetically to Robin. "Can't guarantee that I'm going to keep quiet at school, though."

"Hm? What's the matter?" asked Kirk, giving the tot a little extra hug. "Whatever it is, you can tell me."

"W-what's that mean?" asked Robin, his face turning beet red. "I think most of the people are school are already gonna know about this anyway considering half of them were downstairs."

"I know," Lita said, itching to put her hands into her pockets but of course not doing so because of the baby in her arms. "But I'll be sure to personally mention to you every time I see you. Just to pick on you and everyone else in the same position."

Cassie wasn't quite able to answer-- she just felt too sad about being so mean to him. Cassie clinged on tighter than ever, continuing to cry as she did it.

"Oh, how kind of you," said Robin, frowning. He turned to look at the blonde haired baby across from him, "You holding up okay?"

"Hey, it's alright," said Kirk, bouncing the girl a little bit. He was getting worried. Reaching around he checked her diaper both ways, even more confused when he found it clean. Mostly.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Jason responded, the tone of his voice quiet clearly revealing he was lying. "I'm jus'... thinking about my mommy." He turned as red as the shade of hair he was so fond of the second he realized what he had said.

Cassie could not control herself-- she continued to sob rather violently. Eventually, through sheer force of will (as well as the realization that she just couldn't calm herself down), the girl managed to raise her rapidly shaking arm up long enough to re-insert her pacifier.

"That's probably natural," said Milo. "You're probably worried about not seeing her, huh?"

"Don't be afraid," said Kirk, holding the girl against his chest. "You wanna wait here in the elevator? Stay safe while we go meet the boss? That make you feel better?"

"Y-yeah," Jason answered, at what was once a rare loss for words but seemed to be more and more common as the day went on. "I a'weady miss 'er..."
Cassie looked up at the boy's from-her-perspective enormous face; she had calmed down only a little bit, but enough so at least to shake her head.

"That's probably natural," said Milo. "You're probably worried about not seeing her, huh?"

Cassie looked up at the boy's from-her-perspective enormous face; she had calmed down only a litte bit, but enough so at least to shake her head.

Milo sighed, feeling the mounting pressure as the elevator continued rising. What was the last thing he said to his own mom? He'd always been the family joke, not being able to do magic... Inhaling steadily, he just patted Jason's back, waiting for the doors to open.

"Then what's the matter?" The ninja stroked her hair soothingly. He was glad she was calming down but rather worried that she was upset to begin with.

Lita couldn't help but mentally contrast her own situation from Jason's. She had no shortage of family, while from everything she had seen and heard he just had his mother. And for that matter they were in different positions at the moment, and were different genders. About the only comparison that could be made was that for both existed the threat they would never see their families again...

Cassie hesitated for a second, before once again removing her pacifier and once more taking a look up at the boy. "I.... Ah'm sorwy..."

Kirk smiled, taking Cassie's pacifier and putting it gently back in her mouth before giving her a kiss on the forehead, "Don't worry about it."

Cassie would have grinned if not for the fact that the pacifier made that nearly impossible. It felt so good knowing he wasn't mad at her...

DING!

The doors slid apart again for our six heroes, bringing them to the fifth floor. THe only thing visible from the elevator was a long white hallway, half a dozen doors on either side. It would be rather unremarkable if not for one thing. There was a swirling rainbow painted on the linolium floor. As it ran down the hall, its colors branched off, ending at each of the floor doors. Eventually only yellow remained, stopping at a door at the very, very end.

"Guess we're following the yellow brick road," said Kirk as they stepped out. "THe bad guy's always at the very end in places like this."

Lita felt a slight chill run down her spine. She hadn't felt this freaked out since that time... wait, what happened then? Her mind couldn't seem to wrap around it.

"Whatever," the girl said aloud in response to that lasp in memory, though it might have sounded more like she was answering Kirk. "Guess we should get a-movin'."

"Yeah." More they hesitated the less time they had. A guard had broken Milo's watch so he couldn't be sure how much of the hour had gone by. So he stepped out of the elevator which closed behind them and began the death march.

Whereas Cassie had calmed down to a noticeable degree after Kirk told her not to worry about before, to the point that she was in her own way sort of happy, Jason started to grow more restless as the group walked. He was full-on scared at this point-- not just because of the possibility of losing his mommy, but his friends as well...

Feeling the toddler shaking in his jammies, Milo held him close and securely, "Don't worry. Nothing's gonna happen?"

The yellow lead to the door, and the door lead to... well, they wouldn't quite know that until it was opened. Lita more or less volunteered herself for this as she was the one who reached out and grabbed the knob; it twisted as her hand did and moved back as her arm moved forward.
What do I have to say on this one... not a lot, really. It was a lot of fun to write and given the length we got through it quite quickly. Co-written with :iconlance-the-young:, and a lot of fun to write. I think he carried me more than I carried him, but all-in-all we balanced quite nicely. The Kirk-Cassie thing is a ton of fun and might have to be revisited in some form.
